Color blocking is arguably one of the most popular trends this Spring/Summer. It consists of using three different and seemingly conflicting colors to complete one very cohesive look. Do it right, and it looks fabulous and chic; do it wrong, and it looks like a kaleidoscope. The secret to perfect color blocking is using the color wheel.
The following colors will always flow beautifully:
- Colors directly next to each other
- Colors directly across from each other
- Colors that form right (90 degrees) angles with each other
- Colors that form a T
- Colors that form an X
